Deep in the backcountry.

Scott Johnsen

Photographer/Videographer

Scott’s passion for photography began just over a decade ago when he decided to pick up a film camera at a garage sale. Even though the first roll came back entirely blank, he was hooked. From that day forth Scott took his camera with him everywhere - dedicated to the process, entirely devoted to his newfound craft.

After years of photographing in different niches, Scott found his calling professionally as a Landscape Architect photographer. With a keen eye for framing and a natural curiosity that persuades him to think outside photography “rules”, Scott has built a name for himself in the Landscape Architecture industry. His images have been featured in catalogs by Unilock , High Format and Cast Lighting, to name a few.

When he’s not in the office, Scott can be found traveling the United States looking for the perfect off grid camp site, spending time with his family, or out strolling through town with his favorite point and shoot camera and his two dogs.
